Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms govern your use of the YesPrint platform and any printing or packaging we produce for you.
Draft — not yet legally reviewed
This document was prepared as a working draft for YesPrint to review and amend. It is not legal advice. Have a Nigerian lawyer check it before publishing, particularly the data protection, liability and refund clauses. Company details are filled in; the retention periods, quantity tolerance, deposit and claim windows are stated defaults — confirm or amend them.
1. Who we are
YesPrint ("we", "us") is a printing, packaging and branding business registered in Nigeria as Yes Print Limited (RC 9699253), with its principal address at Plot 89 Nsukka Street, Garki 2, Abuja, Nigeria. You can reach us at hello@yesprint.ng.
By creating an account, requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you are ordering for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. Quotes and pricing
Prices shown by our online calculator are estimates based on the specification you enter. They are generated automatically and may be corrected if the specification is impossible, incomplete, or if the artwork supplied differs materially from what was quoted.
A saved quote is valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. After that, material costs may have moved and we may requote.
All prices are in Nigerian Naira and include VAT at 7.5% where shown. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
3. Artwork and approval
You are responsible for the artwork you supply or create in our design studio. Before we print, we will confirm your artwork. Once you approve artwork, you accept it as correct — including spelling, contact details, prices, barcodes, dimensions and layout.
We check files for technical print-readiness (bleed, resolution, dieline fit) as a courtesy. That check is not proofreading and does not transfer responsibility for content to us.
If an error is discovered after approval and the job has gone to plate or press, a reprint is chargeable.
4. Your rights in the artwork you send us
You confirm that you own, or are licensed to use, everything you send us — logos, images, fonts, text and trade marks — and that printing it will not infringe anyone's rights or break Nigerian law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from artwork you supplied. We may decline any job we believe to be infringing, counterfeit, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful, and will refund any payment made for work not yet started.
Your artwork stays yours. We use it only to produce your order. We will not show it publicly or use it in our marketing without your written permission.
5. Colour
Screens emit light and paper reflects it, so a printed result will never match a screen exactly. Our 3D previews and mockups are illustrations, not colour proofs.
Reasonable variation is normal and is not a defect. This includes variation between print runs, between materials, and across the sheet. Uncoated, kraft and recycled boards absorb ink differently and will print duller than coated stock.
If exact colour is critical, order a printed sample first, or supply a Pantone reference and tell us before we quote. We will always recommend a sample over relying on a screen.
6. Quantity variance
Print production involves set-up waste, so the delivered quantity may differ slightly from the quantity ordered. We aim to deliver in full and will not charge you for more than you ordered.
Where a shortfall is unavoidable, we will supply at least 95% of the ordered quantity and refund or credit the difference. If you need a guaranteed minimum, tell us and we will produce to that figure.
7. Samples and prototypes
A sample kit shows our materials and finishes. A printed prototype is a one-off of your own design, and is chargeable.
Where we state that a prototype fee is credited against production, the credit applies to a production order for the same product and design, placed within 90 days. It is a credit against that order, not a cash refund.
8. Payment
Orders are produced after payment clears, unless you have agreed credit terms with us in writing. We take payment through Paystack; we never see or store your full card details.
For large or bespoke jobs we may require a deposit of 50% before production, with the balance due before despatch.
9. Production time and delivery
Lead times quoted are working days from artwork approval and cleared payment, whichever is later. They are estimates in good faith, not guarantees, and exclude delays caused by late approval, artwork problems, or events outside our control.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check your delivery on arrival and tell us about damage or shortage within 7 days.
10. Cancellation and changes
Because your order is manufactured specifically for you, it is not generally returnable once production has begun. What you can recover depends on how far the job has progressed:
- Before artwork approval — cancel for a full refund.
- After approval, before plates — refund less any prepress work done.
- After plates are made — plate costs are committed and non-refundable.
- Once printing has started — the order cannot be cancelled.
11. If something is wrong
If your order is faulty, materially different from the approved artwork, or short delivered, tell us within 7 days with photographs. We will reprint, replace or refund the affected portion.
Except where Nigerian law says otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost sales or a missed launch date.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
12. Your account
Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may suspend accounts used for unlawful activity, attempted fraud, or abuse of the platform.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the version that governs that order.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have jurisdiction. We would always rather resolve a problem by talking to you first — please contact us before taking any formal step.
